Booking Notice

Your card will be required when booking to hold your appointment, however, it will not be charged until the day of your appointment unless a deposit is required for your service.

We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 7 days prior to the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a rescheduling or cancellation fee at your artist’s discretion.

Previous Tattoos & Corrections of Other Artists Work

Many new clients ask us to correct or refresh permanent makeup or tattoos that were applied by someone else. We do not always perform procedures to cover or correct other artists work.

Please email us photos of the procedure area or ask about a consultation. Make sure you send us clear pictures in natural daylight of the area close up in front & side view, along with a portrait.

In many cases, those corrections are challenging, because it involves unknowns like brand and composition of the pigments used by the original practitioner, color, shape, fading, your skin's natural pigmentation, length of time since most recent application, scarring, and more. Because of this, we cannot guaranty a specific result or determine how many removal or color correction sessions you might need.

We can usually improve the appearance, however shape, shade and technique options may be limited by existing tattoo we are working over. We price this service as a new application  if additional work is required we charge each visit like touch up according to standard touch up rates.

Please keep in mind that most procedures typically takes 2-3 hours, however additional time may be needed based on the individual complexity of your service, so plan to be available for up to 5+ hours.

Policies

Providing great customer service is our number one goal. We respect your time, and ours. Due to the nature of the services we have policies that need to be followed to have a satisfactory experience every time you visit us. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Consultation

Consultation is mandatory before any first-time procedure, especially if you have had permanent makeup by someone else. During 20-40 minutes of the consultation, your skin can be inspected up close. We assess your skin type and discuss the desired look. The consultation is how we typically begin most appointments, and can be done on the day of your procedure at the beginning of your time slot prior to service for most procedures. However, consultations are required before booking for certain services, such as cover-up tattoos and scar camouflage, and are encouraged in any case where you have specific or unique designs in mind, or have any apprehension or uncertainties before scheduling a procedure. Since this is at least a two-step process and it is hard to predict your healing ability, please consider any upcoming special events that might affect your scheduling. We ask you to come for the consultation with realistic expectations.

Deposit

A refundable credit card deposit of $100 is required for certain services. Your deposit is applied to the cost of your procedure and holds your appointment. The deposit is $100 for a single appointment, new deposits may be required for each new appointment including follow-up sessions or touch-ups. This deposit is to ensure that you are serious and committed to your appointment in order to protect your artist’s time and livelihood.

In case you need to reschedule, we require a call 48 hours in advance. Your deposit will be moved up to one time before it is forfeited.

If you wish to reschedule your appointment within 48 hours your deposit will not be applied to the cost of treatment. It will be forfeited.

The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you cancel or do not show up for a scheduled appointment your deposit is forfeited and a no-show fee will be charged. Arriving 30 minutes after the scheduled time will be treated as a no-show.

You will get a text message 24 hours before the planned visit, as well as the morning of. Please make sure to confirm your appointment.

General Rules

If you wish to bring a guest please ask for clearance from your artist. Only 1 additional guest may be allowed in the room at the time of the procedure.

Children under 18 are not allowed to have permanent makeup or tattoo procedures and are not allowed on the premises by law.

Valid Photo ID is required at the time of your appointment.

You may not be pregnant, breastfeeding, or intoxicated at the time of your procedure.

Healed results will vary with each client. No guarantee will be made and additional sessions may be required to achieve optimal results. Additional charges will be applied.

It is mandatory that all clients review and strictly follow the pre-care and aftercare instructions your artist provides you. These are available in general form on our website and as written handouts after your service, your artist may also provide you with specific individualized instructions and recommendations as needed. It is also mandatory that all relevant forms, waivers, records requests, doctor clearance etc. are completed and obtained prior to beginning the procedure.

We have the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any point. This may be in the form of declining services we do not believe you are a candidate for or do not believe we are the best suited to perform. But we also reserve the right to limit or decline services and even completely ban any individuals from the facility premises whom do not respect or comply with our studio policies. We will not tolerate aggressive or hateful language or behavior.

Our studio is anti-racist, body-positive, sex-positive, mental health and trauma-informed, accommodating of all ability levels, and a safe and inclusive space. We welcome people of all sexes, sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions, colors, creeds, and abilities. We do not allow hate or hostility in our facility.

Appointments

We are by appointment only. All appointments are self-booked by the client through our Booking Platform except under special circumstances such as model calls, Emergency Removals, or other situations that require the artist to schedule the appointment manually. Please do not contact your artist to request an appointment that is bookable through the platform, you will be required to schedule yourself.

We require a credit card number to hold an appointment.

The card will only be charged in the case of a no-show up or late notice cancellation.

Touch-Ups & Refresher Sessions

Please note that we only offer Touch-Ups and Refreshers for our own work. For work done elsewhere, you will be considered a cover-up/correction and required to book as an initial procedure per our “Previous Tattoos & Corrections” guidelines.

Please also understand that a Touch-Up is different from an Annual Refresh or Color Boost.

A Touch-Up appointment is meant to perfect your initial procedure and is done within 6 months of your first session.

A Refresher session, also called an Annual or Color Boost, is the regular maintenance to restore and maintain the look of your tattoo long-term, booked as needed generally every 6 months - 3 years.

It is your responsibility to book a touch-up in advance.

Touch-ups are not included in the price of the individual service as these procedures are highly variable. Some individuals may not require a touch-up at all, and other services may require multiple sessions to achieve the desired results. It is recommended to schedule your touch-up during your initial session and you will be required to pay a small touch-up fee at the time of service. In the event that you show up for your touch up and no additional work is needed, we’ll snap some healed photos and send you home (with deposit refunded if applicable). We may also use the scheduled time to provide you with another service if interested.

Refunds

No full or partial refunds will be given after the service has already started. Special circumstances could be made if there is an egregious issue with your service with regards to incorrect shape or application that is not a result of improper precare, aftercare, or your individual anatomy. However, a refund is not guaranteed as the service was already carried out and tattoos are not physical, tangible items (you are paying for yourservice's time, labor, materials used, etc.). Additionally, before requesting a refund, you must allow the pigment to settle and fade accordingly, this may take up to 4-12 weeks, as well as discuss options your artist may be able to offer you for corrections and removal.

Cancellations & No-Shows

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please let us know 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 7 days prior to the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a rescheduling or cancellation fee at your artist’s discretion.

If you cancel within 24 hours of or do not show up for a scheduled appointment, your deposit is forfeited and a no-show fee will be charged. Arriving 30 minutes after the scheduled time will be treated as a no-show.

If for any reason you cannot make an appointment or are running late, please contact your artist immediately. We have a NO TOLERANCE POLICY for No-Call, No-Shows. If your appointment time arrives and you have not yet notified your artist that you need to cancel, you will be considered a considered a “No-Call, No-Show” and will be PERMANENTLY BANNED from booking any future services at our facility. Repeated last-minute cancelations or reschedules may also earn this outcome.

Please respect your artist’s time and income. Remember that we only get paid for the services we perform and taking time off your artist’s schedule that we are then unable to fill after you cancel costs us in multiple ways including lost income, wasted supplies, budgeting issues, potential loss of other clients who would have booked the timeslot instead, and time and energy out of our personal life.

Lateness

Please plan and leave yourself enough time to arrive by your scheduled appointment time. Directions and Location information are available for convenience here. We cannot guarantee that you will be seen if you are 15 or more minutes late for your appointment. If you are running late, please let your artist know as soon as possible to avoid being considered a No-Show. We cannot accommodate clients in the studio prior to the exact scheduled time slot, so if you arrive early please wait until your appointment time to contact or come in.

Tipping

Tipping is customary in personal service and creative industries for good service. Tips usually average 15 - 20% of the treatment price, but it is up to your discretion and we are always grateful regardless of amount. This helps cover the overhead costs and fees that we have to pay in order to provide your services. Tips can be given in cash or payment app or charged to a credit card. Note that tips via credit card will have taxes and service fees taken out of them by the payment processor and the actual amount your artist receives will be less than what you paid. All tips are much appreciated but not required.

Taxes & Processing Fees

The State of Oregon does not charge sales tax, and no additional tax processing fees will be added to the total cost of your service. However, as a business we do have to pay taxes and pay processing fees, and it may be worth noting that a portion of every payment you make to us will be automatically taken out for taxes and by our payment processor, so the amount we receive after these expenses is less than what you are charged, and some people may feel inclined to tip accordingly.

Refunds

All treatments and products are non-refundable.

Contraindications

We may require a doctor’s release note to perform treatments on clients with certain pre-existing conditions. We do not perform treatments on women who are pregnant or nursing, or on anyone who is under the age of 18. Discounts

If you have a coupon code, please be sure to apply it at the time of booking. Any additional discounts provided by your artist will be applied on the day of your appointment.
