A tattoo is a form of body modification made by inserting ink, dyes, and/or pigments, either indelible or temporary,

into the dermis layer of the skin to form a design. The art of making tattoos is tattooing.

Body Art Tattoo:

The art of tattooing is a fundamental part of human culture and history.
We have been adorning and modifying our bodies with tattoos since ancient times.

Whether purely decorative, or symbolic in nature, tattooing helps us convey our truest selves.
Small tattoos are a delicate and discrete way to enjoy this form of bodily enhancement and expression.

If the artist does not feel suited for the tattoo we may respectfully decline the appointment and refer you to an artist we believe would be of better service to you.
All tattoos are done by appointment only, we do not take walk-ins or same-day customs.
Tattoo recipients of any kind must be over the age of 18 per Oregon law, regardless of parental permission.

Abstract Tattoos:

ABSTRACT BLACKWORK & MINIMALIST TRASH POLKA DESIGNS

Exuvium Studios owner/artist Kaysie takes on larger Abstract Tattoos (customs & flash) on a limited case-by-case basis. Please send an email or schedule a consultation if interested. For smaller abstract pieces, book as a “Tiny Tattoo”.

Styles include abstract art, paint splatter, brush strokes, scribble art, halftone dots, minimalist linework, trash polka, geometric designs, etc.

Face Tattoos:

FROM SIMPLE DOTS & LINES, TO INTRICATE FULL FACE TATTOO ART

A lot of body tattoo artists do not offer facial tattooing. The reasons range from personal objections to facial tattoos, to simply not being comfortable working on facial skin (which behaves differently than skin elsewhere on the body).

As cosmetic artists, we work on facial skin all day! We love it! And we believe in freedom of your individial artistic expression and the bodily autonomy to choose where you want to be tattooed.

With a background in Make-Up Art and cosmetic tattooing, Exuvium Studios owner/artist Kaysie is comfortable with the designwork, freehand drawing and attention to facial balance that is often necessary for a well-placed and executed facial tattoo.

For small pieces, book as a “Tiny Tattoo”. For larger customs, please send an email or schedule a consultation.

Decorative Cosmetic Tattoos:

WHEN PERMANENT MAKEUP MEETS BODY ART

Heart-shaped areolas, body freckles that look like stars, lip stripes, etc: Are they permanent makeup, or tattoos? Both, neither, doesn’t really matter, they’re adorable and we do them! In fact, we specialize in these kinds of “blurring the lines” unique/alternative cosmetic tattoos, which often require knowleque and techniques from both cosmetic tattooing and traditional body art tattoos.

Customs, Cover-ups and Corrections are taken on a case-by-case basis.
